terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and SELDR LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (“BeatShip”, “we”, “us”). Company details are in the site footer. By using BeatShip you accept them.
01what BeatShip is
BeatShip is desktop software that prepares and publishes your finished beats: it organizes your session, builds your deliverable files, writes your metadata, and posts to your own YouTube and BeatStars accounts on your instruction. It runs on your computer, with your files, under your control.
02who can use it
You must be 13 or older. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. One account per person; keep your login to yourself and tell us if you believe it has been compromised.
03your music
Everything you make is yours. Your beats, stems, artwork, and project files never pass through our servers, and you grant us no rights in your music whatsoever. The software acts on your machine, on your instruction, and nothing more.
You are the publisher of everything you release through BeatShip. You confirm you have the rights to the material you publish, including any samples, and that it complies with the rules of the platform receiving it.
04connected platforms
BeatShip publishes to YouTube and BeatStars through accounts you connect and control. By using the YouTube integration you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.
Automated publishing carries inherent risk. Metadata can be wrong, an upload can duplicate, content can fall foul of a platform’s guidelines, and a platform may limit, suspend, or penalize accounts at its own discretion. Platforms can also change or withdraw the interfaces our integrations rely on at any time. You choose what ships and when; we cannot control and are not responsible for actions YouTube, BeatStars, or any third party takes regarding your account or content. Review before you publish.
BeatShip is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google, BeatStars, or Image-Line.
05fair use of the service
Do not use BeatShip to publish material you have no right to publish, to break the law, or to violate another platform’s terms. Do not resell, copy, decompile, or reverse engineer the software, probe or disrupt our systems, or share one account between several people. We may suspend accounts that do.
06early access
BeatShip is currently in free early access. Features may change, break, or be withdrawn without notice, and access may be granted, limited, or ended at our discretion. Early access is a preview, not a promise of any future feature or price.
07paid plans
When paid plans launch, they will be billed as recurring subscriptions through our payment provider, cancelable at any time with effect from the end of the billing period. UK and EU consumers keep their statutory rights, including the 14-day cooling-off period where it applies. Prices and plan contents may change with notice before your next renewal.
08our property
The BeatShip software, brand, design, and everything we built to make it work belong to SELDR LTD. Your license is personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable, for its intended use. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without obligation to you.
09no warranties
BeatShip is provided as it is and as it is available. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, that generated metadata will perform, or that any integration will keep working. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities, including consequences of a platform’s decisions about your account. Our total liability under these terms is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or £100.
11your responsibility to us
If a third party brings a claim against us because of content you published, rights you did not have, or your breach of these terms, you will cover the losses and reasonable costs that claim causes us.
12ending things
You can stop using BeatShip and delete your account at any time; your files remain on your device because they never left it. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or withdrawal of the service. Sections 3, 8, 10, and 11 survive.
13changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use BeatShip after that means you accept it.
14law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes belong to the courts of England and Wales. If you use BeatShip as a consumer elsewhere, you keep any mandatory protections of your home country. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest stands. These terms are the entire agreement between us about BeatShip.
