BEATSHIP · SELDR LTD

privacy policy

effective 8 july 2026

BeatShip (“we”, “us”) is operated by SELDR LTD, a company registered in England and Wales. Company details are in the site footer. Contact: privacy@beatship.io

01your music never reaches us

BeatShip reads your session and processes your audio entirely on your device. Beats, stems, project files, voice tags, beat titles, and app settings stay on your computer. We hold no copy of any of it. We cannot leak, sell, or train on your music, because we never receive it.

02what we do hold

Your email. Joining the waitlist or creating an account stores your email address so we can contact you about access and updates. It lives in our Supabase database. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link that works instantly.

Diagnostics. App version, operating system, and error reports. These never contain audio or personal content.

Naming corrections. When you correct a channel name inside the app, we may store that correction, the original name and the label you chose, to make recognition better for everyone. No audio, not linked to your music.

Support conversations. If you write to us, we keep the exchange to help you and improve support. Deleted after 24 months.

We collect no other personal data.

03YouTube

BeatShip uses YouTube API Services. Connecting your account means agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service; the Google Privacy Policy governs Google’s side.

You sign in with Google. Your password never touches BeatShip. With your permission, BeatShip uploads videos, sets thumbnails, manages your beat playlists, and edits the metadata of your videos, always on your instruction. It cannot see your watch history, comments, subscribers, or analytics.

Your OAuth tokens are stored only on your device, in your operating system’s secure credential storage. They are never sent to or held on our servers. You can cut BeatShip’s access at any moment in your Google Account permissions; it takes effect immediately.

BeatShip’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used solely for the features you trigger. Never for advertising, never sold or shared, never read by a human, never used to train AI models.

04BeatStars

Your BeatStars connection runs in your own session, on your own machine, publishing straight to your account. We never see, store, or transmit your BeatStars credentials. Disconnect any time in the app. BeatShip is independent and not affiliated with BeatStars or YouTube.

05who we work with

Two service providers, nothing more: Supabase stores waitlist emails, and Cloudflare serves this website. No ad networks, no analytics trackers, no data brokers, no AI image services. Where data is processed outside the UK, transfers are protected under UK adequacy rules and the international data transfer agreement.

06security

All connections use TLS encryption. OAuth tokens are stored in your operating system’s credential store, not on our servers. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure; we reduce risk by design — data we do not hold cannot be compromised.

07data retention and deletion

Emails: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Diagnostics: up to 12 months. Deletion requests to privacy@beatship.io are completed within 30 days, with residual backups purged within 90.

08your rights

Under UK GDPR, and EU GDPR where it applies, you can access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your data, object to processing, and complain to the ICO or your local authority. California residents have the right to know, delete, and opt out; we do not sell personal information, anywhere, for anyone. We extend these rights to every user regardless of location. Legal basis: consent for the waitlist, legitimate interest for keeping the software working.

09age

BeatShip is for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly hold data on anyone younger, and we delete it promptly if we learn otherwise.

10changes

Updates appear here with a new effective date. If a change matters, we email you before it applies.
